I'm sad to say my wonderful Pippin died this week so this will be the end of the blog. He was my BFF and a total delight for more than thirteen years and I can.t imagine my life without him.

Well,I know I have the odd grumble about P but.....she has let three years go by without updating my posts so you can see things from my point of view now. Still, she made sure I had a great 13th birthday,I did in fact have two parties, one in church in the morning with cake and candles and cards and gifta and one in the afternoon at the Rocking Horse Cafe at Rock with more cake, candles, cards and gifts, we were both very tired when we got home but when all said and done we are both getting on a bit now.

Guess what, I have a new best pal, Saber, the cat from next door. We spent a year chasing each other, at first we meant it then it became a bit half hearted now we don't bother at all.

I don't mind at all if he comes in the house and I really like our little walks round the garden but I do feel a bit left behind when he climbs onto something high and I can't follow.

Well, yesterday, 13th February, was my tenth birthday and I had such a lovely day. I attended my first party in the morning with cake number one

P and I got home in time to get ready for party number two with, of course, cake number two. At least this time there was a little cake for me made from meat.

I rather like my bow tie and wear it for my more formal occasions, I think that I look rather young for a ten year old lad.

The celebrations aren't over yet, tomorrow some of my doggy pals are coming to tea. I would think that by tomorrow evening P and I will both be totally partied out.

I've had three friends staying for the day and we had some fun walks.

Spike, Tilly and I found something REALLY interesting. Blue pretended she didn't want to know what it was but I bet she did really.

I was a bit put out when we got home, Blue and Tilly commandeered MY sofa and refused to make room for me, personally I prefer my window but I wasn't going to admit that to them.

HOWEVER.......sorry, I shouldn't shout, however, Spike took over the window watching for his mum coming home - not sure having company is such a good idea!!

Everyone has gone home now so P and I can mellow out and enjoy the evening.

Wow, little paddy-paws got a bit cold this morning but it was all very beautiful so P went back for her camera which meant we had to do the walk twice. I for one was more than ready to go home for my breakfast porridge.
